With over 10 years of experience leading river and trail adventures, Ty is the kind of guide who turns every trip into an unforgettable journey. He’s guided whitewater rafting trips down Colorado’s legendary Poudre River, led treks across Utah’s iconic national parks—including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef—and explored wild landscapes from Yellowstone and Joshua Tree to the turquoise waterfalls of Havasupai in the Grand Canyon region.

Ty knows the American Southwest like the back of his hand, and he’s passionate about sharing its wonders. His deep knowledge of geology, local flora and fauna, and Indigenous and natural history brings depth and insight to every trail. You’ll come away not just with beautiful views—but with a deeper appreciation of the land beneath your feet.

As a certified Wilderness First Responder, Ty prioritizes safety at every turn. Whether navigating remote backcountry terrain, handling emergencies, or driving rugged roads with confidence, he ensures that every guest feels secure, supported, and well-prepared.

Beyond his professional expertise, Ty is also a devoted father of two young sons. His family-oriented approach shines through in the way he connects with people of all ages and backgrounds.
