Sedona Day Tours, Sightseeing, and Guided Hikes

Welcome to ARRA, your trusted local expert for unforgettable day tours in Sedona and Northern Arizona. Below are the most common questions guests ask us before booking a tour. Whether you're wondering what to pack, how strenuous our hikes are, or what makes us different from other Sedona tour companies, we've got you covered.

⭐ General Questions About ARRA Tours

What is ARRA and what kind of tours do you offer?

ARRA is a locally owned tour company based in Sedona, Arizona. We offer full-day sightseeing adventures and guided hiking tours through Sedona, Oak Creek, and the surrounding red rock landscapes. Our tours combine breathtaking scenery with personal storytelling, local ecology, indigenous history, and expert guidance.

What makes ARRA different from other Sedona tour companies?

Unlike large commercial tours, ARRA offers small-group, highly personalized experiences led by passionate, veteran guides. Ty and Karissa—our founders—have decades of experience as outdoor professionals, with deep knowledge of the land, trails, native plants, and local history. We focus on safety, education, and soulful connection with nature.

Are your tours suitable for beginners or people who aren't used to hiking?

Yes. Most of our hikes are moderate and tailored to your comfort level. You don’t need to be a hardcore hiker to enjoy the experience. We talk with each group beforehand to pick the right trail and pace for everyone.

🥾 Preparing for Your Sedona Hiking or Sightseeing Tour

What should I bring on a day hike or guided tour?

We recommend wearing sturdy shoes or hiking boots, dressing in breathable layers, and bringing a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. ARRA provides water, light snacks, and a detailed packing list ahead of time to make sure you're ready.

Is food or lunch included on your full-day tours?

We provide healthy trail snacks and cold water. For longer adventures, we often stop at a scenic picnic spot or a local eatery (depending on the route), and we’ll communicate meal options before your tour. If you have dietary restrictions, let us know.

Do you offer kid-friendly or family hiking tours?

Absolutely. ARRA is family-friendly and we love introducing kids to the outdoors. Karissa, who helps design many of our routes, is a mom and knows how to engage younger adventurers. Let us know your children's ages, and we’ll create a safe and exciting experience.
